What is ONDC and why does it matter for my shop?

Instead of locking your products inside one app like Amazon or Flipkart, ONDC lets you list ONCE and reach 50+ buyer apps — Paytm, PhonePe, Magicpin, Mystore — at the same time. You keep your customer data and brand.

What does Kaarobari cost a seller?

Accepted Answer

There is no monthly fee, no setup fee and no listing fee. Kaarobari charges a small 2% success fee only when an order is delivered — the lowest in the market (most platforms charge 3–5% plus ads). You earn first, we earn after. No card needed to start.

Question 3

Which buyer apps will my products show up on?

Accepted Answer

Paytm, PhonePe, Magicpin, Mystore, Pincode (PhonePe Commerce), Tata Neu, Meesho, Snapdeal — and 40+ more buyer apps that join the ONDC network. You list once. Every app reads from the same ONDC catalog.

Can I sell on ONDC without GST?

You need ONE of two things: a GSTIN (upload your GST certificate), OR — if you are not GST-registered yet — a free GST enrolment number plus your Udyam certificate, which lets you sell within your state. How long does the full setup take?

Most sellers go live in about 10 minutes: mobile + OTP, PAN + Aadhaar + bank details, GST or Udyam upload, first product. Upload your full catalog via CSV when you have time — orders start flowing the moment your first product is live.

What about returns, cancellations, and customer disputes?

ONDC has a built-in IGM (Issue & Grievance Management) protocol. We handle the dispute flow end-to-end on your behalf — buyer raises issue, we mediate, refund/replace per the terms you set during onboarding. Standard return windows apply (3–7 days for most categories).

Can I sell from one shop to all of India?

Accepted Answer

Yes — that is the whole point. List products with your shop's pincode. The delivery companies on the ONDC network handle pan-India delivery for you. You do not need separate accounts in each state.

Question 8

What if I already use Shiprocket / Delhivery / a courier?

Accepted Answer

Keep using them. Kaarobari does not force you onto any delivery partner. We can arrange delivery for you, or you can deliver with the courier you already use — just enter the tracking (AWB) number in your dashboard and the buyer can follow the delivery.

Which documents do I need to start selling?

Just a few, and most sellers already have them: PAN card, Aadhaar (front + back), one bank proof (cancelled cheque / passbook / statement), and your GST certificate — or, if you are not GST-registered, a free GST enrolment number plus Udyam certificate.
