Differential Treatment Disclosures
Version 1.0 · Draft — pending counsel review
Published by Nexsol Infotech Private Limited, operating Kaarobari (kaarobari.com).
This page is a working draft prepared per ONDC Network Policy Chapter 2.3.3(k) + 2.4.6(b). The final wording is pending sign-off from our counsel and a fitness-check by ONDC (network.policies@ondc.org). Effective date will be filled in when the published version goes live in production.
1. Differential treatment criteria
The following are objective, quantitative criteria that apply uniformly to every ONDC Buyer App that transacts with Kaarobari sellers. We do not differentiate transaction terms, settlement period, catalog, or pricing by Buyer App identity.
| Criterion | Measurement / Threshold |
|---|---|
| Maximum Buyer Finder Fee accepted on /search | 5%. We NACK /search requests carrying a BFF tag greater than 5% to protect seller margin. |
| Settlement timing to seller | T+1 via Razorpay Payouts. Identical for every Buyer App. |
| Catalog visibility | At the NP level, all seller catalogs are visible to all Buyer Apps. No Buyer-App-exclusive sub-catalogs, feature gates, or differential ranking. Individual sellers may opt out of specific Buyer Apps via their dashboard — this is a seller-initiated, Buyer-App-agnostic control offered uniformly to every seller, not a differential rule applied by Kaarobari. |
| Item pricing | Same MRP across all Buyer Apps. No Buyer-App-specific markup or discount. |
2. Whitelisting requirements for Buyer Apps
None. We treat all ONDC Buyer Apps uniformly today. No Buyer App is required to enter a separate whitelist or commercial arrangement to transact with Kaarobari sellers beyond the standard ONDC Network Participant agreement.
3. Operational SLAs (informational)
These are informational service-levels Kaarobari targets in the ordinary course. They are not commitments to any individual Buyer App and may evolve as the network matures.
- /search ACK p95 latency: under 500 ms
- Seller settlement: T+1 via Razorpay Payouts
- IGM (Issue & Grievance Management): 24-hour initial response, 5-day target final resolution
4. Settlement terms summary
Seller settlement is performed via Razorpay Payouts on a T+1 basis. We deduct GST §52 TCS at 0.5% and Income-Tax §194-O TDS at 0.1% (5% floor where PAN is inoperative) on settlement at our side, per Easy-Pay-class operating model. A detailed Settlement Terms PDF — covering tax decomposition, gateway-fee passthrough, RSF 2.0 reconciliation cadence, and dispute timelines — will be cross-linked here once counsel-reviewed.
5. ONDC public registry
These disclosures will also be listed by ONDC on its public registry of network-participant disclosures at resources.ondc.org/disclosures. The on-registry copy is the canonical published version once approved.
